Gather as we celebrate the 27th year of our Queen, Ashley Jones!

Since her return that was 4 years ago, she has gifted us with insightful documentaries, humorous sketches based around her quirky characters, educational videos focused on vintage technology, and so much more!

Thank you Ashley for providing a place where we can laugh, learn, share and converse in many topics on this imageboard you have created for us, whether we are singing the blues or bored to tears, we always find ourselves coming back here.

Happy Birthday!

Wow that's so sweet. REEEE WHY ARE THERE NO NEW GIFT CARDS IN MY INBOX NOR NO NEW MONEROS DONATED TO ME????

I'M OLD AND POOR. But thanks. But ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Ok I feel better now. Three more to thirty, how old are you people? I'm going to drown out my sorrows at a Chinese Buffet right now. I hope they have wheelchairs there, because I'm not going to be able to walk after what I do to that buffet.

watchu got against emulators?
Replies: >>6071
>>6070
Emulators are soulless and low poly games in high resolution look uglier to me, especially in 4K. Also, emulators fail at capturing certain effects that original hardware can produce, like the mist in the Silent Hill games. Even the PS2 version of GTA San Andreas has its own unique lighting to help allow the game to run smoother due to hardware limitations, that's why it looks different than the Xbox and PC versions. I still have my original PS2 from 2001 because of this, unfortunately physical media is expensive, especially the more rare titles that resellers are hunting down and listing on eBay for a stupid amount of money. Which is why I'm glad I kept most of my games from my childhood.
Replies: >>6073

That's cool that your dad still plays games. The only game I've ever seen my dad play was Galaxion and Pac-Man which was part of some retro collection on the Playstation. He was also completely fine with me playing violent games as a kid since he knew it was all just for fun unlike some of my friends' parents who only bought them kids games.
>>6062
>emulators are lame
Why wait to go through all that trouble? Both GameCube and Wii versions of Pikmin and Pikmin 2 play perfectly on Dolphin emulator. The Wii versions will still require a Wiimote and Nunchuk and sensor bar to play though. They make Wii sensor bars with USB plugs for PC but you can also just use two tea light candles instead. You can also use the motion bar already plugged into your Wii on Dolphin. Simply turn on your Wii and set the motion bar under your computer monitor. You don't even have to turn on your TV or mess with the settings on your Wii for the sensor bar to work if your Wiimote is already recognized by Dolphin.

Ashley mentioned Pikmin in one of her livestreams. Pikmin was the first GameCube game I ever played.

>>6071
Just use ShaderGlass if you want the CRT experience. Native settings on emulator replicate the original console as close as possible. Adjusting the settings in the emulator will generally solve most all graphical issues. If not, a bug report to the developer will usually have them corrected in the next update. The developers of PSCX2 fixed some graphical issues I was experiencing with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai in their next nightly update and now it runs perfect. The issues with the Silent Hill fog have been mostly corrected on Duck Station and PCSX2 as far as I'm aware. The best way to play Silent Hill 2 is by using the Silent Hill 2: Enhanced Edition mod on PC. I'm not sure about GTA San Andreas though. I haven't attempted to run it on PCSX2 yet. I usually play the PC version using the Improved Classic and Updated Classic mod. The Improved Classic mod is pretty much the PS2 version of GTA San Andreas.

Anon, we must respect people's decisions to do with their hardware as they please.
No matter how retarded it is.
I love emulators because it means I can play my favourite video games while having Subway Surfer videos playing in the corner of the screen to help with my attention span.
Furthermore, the ability to quickly hop onto YouTube and play alpha pong beats is most appreciated.

Fair, I don't recommend it for obvious reasons. However, I was severely abused as a child (not sexually, but physically and emotionally, one time I had hot coffee thrown at me when I was a kid, for example, in fact it was only because I was pale the abuse subsided at least physically because bruises would show up easily, and my parents couldn't make me take sick days off school without the authorities getting involved, once the school holidays began, however, it was beating time again) and I actually really like cats so for me, watching these cat torture videos was a way for me to relate and make the trauma belong more to me, if that makes sense?
I used to also write a lot of fucked up stories as a kid about cats being tortured, like one time I wrote a story where one of the chapters involved a small kitten being abandoned by his mother and at one point he lost a leg because a butcher (not Chinese, I wasn't aware of the meme at the time) decided to butcher it alive before it managed to escape, although I myself never felt like hurting animals myself.
Another story I wrote was about a mother cat and her kittens being tortured and beaten up, and I was so stupid I even showed that to my English teacher I felt really proud of the story and my teacher was visibly concerned but said that it was an okay story, minus the violence.
One time, I had a crush on a girl, and she really liked cats too, so I share

You too? Get in line. My mom beat me with a clothes iron once swinging it from the power cord like it was a morning star. She used to say she was going to beat me but would wait until I least expected it such as being in the shower one evening when I thought I was home alone almost a week later. She did some pretty fucked up shit to us and my family just ignored it. I found out from one of my uncles who grew up with her that she used to fuck with them too coming up and even chased him with a knife once through the house when their parents weren't home. My mom purposely misinterpreted goofy rap lyrics I wrote to make my friends laugh in high school as a cry for help to have me evaluated psychologically in an attempt to have me sent to juvenile hall not because I had done anything wrong but simply to spite me so she could maintain control over my life so that I wouldn't be able to leave home at 18 instead being released from there at 21. She managed to do this to my little brother and he was released soon because they evaluated him while in juvenile hall and realized he shouldn't even be there but the whole experience fucked him up.

Picrel is supposedly a collection of rabbit torture videos that were released on dvd. Some normal people who collect movies actually have this in their collection. This pic is not mine. I found it posted on facebook.

I've been getting majorly prepared for livestreaming. The thing is, I don't necessarily look at it as a traditional modern livestream. I'm going to have my livestream be like a classic 90's public access show.

You guys will get to interact with me, the shows will involve a lot more than me just sitting and talking about the chat. I'm going to plan things out and execute them like it's an actual pubic access show.

Soon I'm going to need help testing livestreaming to make sure it all works fine. I may do a few 5-10 minute tests in the near future, some of you guys can join me and let me know how the quality is.

That being said, I'll post my ideas and get your feedback in this thread.

I've not heard of this term before but it seems interesting. From what I can gather, it means navigating through an urban enviroment via unconventional paths? I often find myself taking odd shortcuts like stepping over a slab of stone away from the pavement or walking through a muddy area if its quicker.
Just recently I was walking for an hour to a major supermarket and on the way spotted an antenna tower, and I just gravitated towards it so I can admire it up close as if it was some sort of eifel tower.

Yeah, I those towers are great. In a rural area I saw the allocated land to a chain of these make a path- maybe for maintenance? When all the other land around is owned or has "don't step here! government business!" signs it really feels like a treasure to find a secret path behind all the other parcels.

Everyone who is anyone in that community knows that if you say you prefer Sam, you're a poser. I don't think Ashley actually has a problem with Sam Hyde. I think her issue is because someone from her old fan group started a rumor that her Sam were a thing after Sam had mentioned that he was dating a girl similar in size to Ashley and everyone just ran with it. There was even an MDE video where Sam hooked up with some Asian girl and everyone thought she was Ashley because she resembled her from the side. It all stems from another e-girl Marky who was also a fan of Ashley that sought to fuck Sam for clout and actually went through with it since they both lived near each another. A thing about Ashley is when something actually upsets her, she doesn't want anyone to know about it because she is concerned they will use it to make fun of her.

How often do you guys have to burp your piss bottles? For me, it's around 3-6 times depending on how much urine I'm expelling. I use a 1 gallon bottle, which has a fairly wide mouth so I'm able to fit my (flaccid) penis inside of it, which is excellent for reducing spillage, but does necessitate burping. If I don't burp it the bottle a few times while I make, the displaced air will fill up my foreskin like a balloon.

Picture of my mommy is unrelated but nice to look at.

Ditto. I've been coasting by the past few years working the same menial job instead developing new skills to help get me ahead. I don't mind the job itself since it's easy, has good workers, decent pay and great benefits, basically everything I wished for when I was going through hard times. But now it's been 6 years and I feel like not much has changed other than owning some extra toys to help fill in the void.

I'm waiting to hear back from another company that's in a much better location. If I don't get in, then I'll have to stay at my current job while continuing my education.

Yeah, I recently got a job which is a major deal because it's my first job, and my parents are welfare claiming neets so this is all new to me.
I also felt that I didn't spend enough time developing new skills, both in terms of employment and personal interest, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now.

I strongly recommend you put up a picture of an Indian next to your house keys so that before you leave for work and when you come back home, you are reminded of the constant struggle you have to go through, something your boomer (grand)parents didn't have to worry about.

This will motivate you in improving yourself knowing President Trump will happily swamp the US with millions of them. Once a Democrat is in power, replace the Indian with a Mexican.

always wondered how the batter tasted so unique. Is this really a commonplace technique? How did you obtain this information? Who do you know that spilled the bok choi on this? Where is your dog?

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to finally make a gayming thread, I was about to create one until I saw this post. Anyways, I finished the Resident Evil trilogy recently, didn't have enough time to play the Silent Hill games back in October but I'll be on vacation throughout December so I'll tackle them later. It's been 6 years since my last playthrough so the sp00ks should be as good as before.

I have often dreamt of my grandpa being back to his house, we sit at the table, hear him talk... I vaguely remember in dream that he did die (cancer too), but at the same time him being back to life feels very "matter of fact" just like you say. It's a very strange feeling, specially since those dreams are always particularly lucid.
>>35149
Sorry for your loss anon, I recently lost my grandma and was there when she was dead in her flat, I now started to see her in my dreams too. I remember at first I didn't even feel much cause I'm doped with antidepressants, but then after the funeral it got to me and I had a dream when I was in her flat and she came there and said she came to say her final goodbye, then I think I finally accepted she's gone.
