Oh, I thought you (or anon) meant shoving the hamster up your arse, and having it squeal and struggle (natural home remedy vibration toy) therefore stimulating the anal tissues leading to arousal, or something.
Shoving up your ass is boofing.

Does anyone actually own this device and use it as their regular PC? I've heard much about this, but I've never actually seen it in action irl. Has anyone here created cool projects using the Pi or other similar single-board computers?

Also, can we have a discussion regarding the open source ISA RISC-V? Has anyone tried it out? As I'm aware there does exist some consumer computer boards such as the OrangePi RV2.

Maybe later.
I turned mine into a Retropie, but I don't even use it. I was going to check this out and probably turn it into a node https://github.com/shermand100/PiNodeXMR/wiki/Manual

I'm so ON over Mashiro. It's crazy how much I love her.
Even thought she was made as the "villain" in the story, I just can't avoid thinking on her as the cutest moth-girl ever done. She may work as the psycho yandere depicted in the series and fit perfectly in a cute wife role as well. Evidence of it are Zen/Tan and Tojinawa releases.
I love Mashiro.

Emulators are soulless and low poly games in high resolution look uglier to me, especially in 4K. Also, emulators fail at capturing certain effects that original hardware can produce, like the mist in the Silent Hill games. Even the PS2 version of GTA San Andreas has its own unique lighting to help allow the game to run smoother due to hardware limitations, that's why it looks different than the Xbox and PC versions. I still have my original PS2 from 2001 because of this, unfortunately physical media is expensive, especially the more rare titles that resellers are hunting down and listing on eBay for a stupid amount of money. Which is why I'm glad I kept most of my games from my childhood.

That's cool that your dad still plays games. The only game I've ever seen my dad play was Galaxion and Pac-Man which was part of some retro collection on the Playstation. He was also completely fine with me playing violent games as a kid since he knew it was all just for fun unlike some of my friends' parents who only bought them kids games.

>emulators are lame
Why wait to go through all that trouble? Both GameCube and Wii versions of Pikmin and Pikmin 2 play perfectly on Dolphin emulator. The Wii versions will still require a Wiimote and Nunchuk and sensor bar to play though. They make Wii sensor bars with USB plugs for PC but you can also just use two tea light candles instead. You can also use the motion bar already plugged into your Wii on Dolphin. Simply turn on your Wii and set the motion bar under your computer monitor. You don't even have to turn on your TV or mess with the settings on your Wii for the sensor bar to work if your Wiimote is already recognized by Dolphin.

Ashley mentioned Pikmin in one of her livestreams. Pikmin was the first GameCube game I ever played.

Just use ShaderGlass if you want the CRT experience. Native settings on emulator replicate the original console as close as possible. Adjusting the settings in the emulator will generally solve most all graphical issues. If not, a bug report to the developer will usually have them corrected in the next update. The developers of PSCX2 fixed some graphical issues I was experiencing with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai in their next nightly update and now it runs perfect. The issues with the Silent Hill fog have been mostly corrected on Duck Station and PCSX2 as far as I'm aware. The best way to play Silent Hill 2 is by using the Silent Hill 2: Enhanced Edition mod on PC. I'm not sure about GTA San Andreas though. I haven't attempted to run it on PCSX2 yet. I usually play the PC version using the Improved Classic and Updated Classic mod. The Improved Classic mod is pretty much the PS2 version of GTA San Andreas.

Anon, we must respect people's decisions to do with their hardware as they please.
No matter how retarded it is.
I love emulators because it means I can play my favourite video games while having Subway Surfer videos playing in the corner of the screen to help with my attention span.
Furthermore, the ability to quickly hop onto YouTube and play alpha pong beats is most appreciated.

I can't wait for this war to be over so Ukraine and Russia can go back to not mattering. The developer that made the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series should make a game about the war. Something dark and atmospheric like their games but a boomer shooter. The belligerents of this war already call each other pigs and orcs. Also one of the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was killed in combat.

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to finally make a gayming thread, I was about to create one until I saw this post. Anyways, I finished the Resident Evil trilogy recently, didn't have enough time to play the Silent Hill games back in October but I'll be on vacation throughout December so I'll tackle them later. It's been 6 years since my last playthrough so the sp00ks should be as good as before.

Ashley is aspiring to make an NES game in assembly (probably not soon but eventually):
https://dukenukemis.cool/my-goals-and-aspirations
What are your opinions and ideas? Is there anyone with NES programming experience?
Having spent an hour or two studying NES dev wiki it seems like a challenge, not really because of 6502 assembly but rather because of the PPU, having to manage the timings of vblanks, transferring the data to VRAM in peculiar formats and so on, even reading buttons is quite tricky. Assuming an extremely simple one screen minigame, do you guys think it's doable?

How much time is necessary? Monkeys were here long before people existed and we invented everything required for the monkeys to reproduce all of the works of Shakespeare and they still haven't produced anything. Without white people monkeys would have never even learned to communicate the English language.
>inb4 picrel is not a monkey
Gorillas are more closely related to humans and they still can't reproduce the works of Shakespeare. Most people can't even do that.
