Not only that but if you're a white male, in my experience, workplaces often don’t reward your competence, only your compliance. When someone consistently outperforms others, it provokes resentment among their other employees rather than improvement. Instead of raising their own standards, your coworkers respond by manufacturing conflict, spreading rumors, and quietly turning others against you.
If the pressure doesn’t push you out, the next step is often escalation: misrepresentations to management, selective reporting, or outright falsehoods framed as concerns. I’ve seen this play out firsthand at every job I've ever held and this behavior has always been propagated by women and blacks. At my last job, I was called in to speak with my manager and initially assumed it was about advancement or my 90-day raise. Instead, I was given the “it’s not working out” talk, followed by a drastic cut in hours clearly intended to force me to leave. I went to higher management about it and they had no idea why they were telling me I was fired when they didn't have that authority but they did absolutely nothing but talk to my managers about it. All that did was make my managers start treating me like garbage, calling me out in front of everyone over nothing and insulting my intelligence. Next thing I know, I have black male employees confronting me in the restroom threatening to assault me in the parking lot because someone had told them I had made racist remarks. After witnessing how quickly these people who were so nice and friendly to me before had turned on me, I decided it's best to abandon ship. It's just not worth the stress. All of these minimum wage jobs where I live are hijacked and held hostage by cliques of blacks or divorced white women who are miserable and hate men.
This guy has a pretty good video on this subject.
