Oh shit. I was a naysayer who claimed the Chinese thread never happened. In fact, I wrote the Snopes article about it >>8907. Turns out I needed to fact check better, because there was a Chinese thread. It had the Chinese Derrick picture, slightly modified with Chinese text under the picture, and the post was about a Chinese guy recently finding Ashley, I think. I don't see it in the catalog, I'm guessing he deleted it because I remember he filled out the email and name field. Mystery solved.
