Yeah, there's certainly something to this. Ash is lovely to simply listen to. She has a way about her that's just so charming. There's still plenty of people that do this, but I know what you mean. Some of the remaining content creators I grew up watching evolved their content into a higher production that starkly contrasts their humble beginnings. Partially I know this is because people grow and change, but I also understand that the changes are partially due to a need to adapt to tech policy because their old form of content simply couldn't survive the restrictive rules in place today.

What a lot of people and especially zoomers don't understand is that economic policy ESGs- A rating system put in place by the WEF for companies to fall in line with in order to receive investor's money incentivizes tech policy, which dictates the ideas we're exposed to aka programming the population at scale. When I was a teen and Google acquired YouTube, I knew it was over, I just couldn't fathom how bad it would actually get down the line. A sign of the times I know, but something irreplaceable got lost along the way in how we express ourselves to each other online. I guess I find it nostalgic/comfy having a cute girl on my screen talking through a low res cam tell me about the going ons in her life.
