For me, a good movie is above all a well-told story.

I think it is important how one sees a movie. watching a movie on your cell phone or laptop is not the same as watching one on a big screen with a good sound system and in the dark. even a good company can make a big difference. also sometimes smoking marijuana helps to see them in another way.
