The Nick Reiner situation is crazy.

>Nick Reiner was a nepo baby who went to rehab 18 times, never smiled in family photos and left his hotel room soaked in blood: After being charged with the brutal murder of his parents, TOM LEONARD reveals the 32-year-old's troubled past

Since some of us resent our parents, I figured this would be an important topic to talk about. This guy came from a wealthy family and had everything given to him on a silver platter, yet he was still unhappy with his life which lead to many years of drug addiction and resentment towards his parents, especially his father Bob Reiner, who acted and directed in many films and TV shows, one of them being a personal favorite of mine called 'Stand By Me'.

What are your thoughts and conspiracies on this bizarre and tragic event? Was it the drugs that made him do this or is it much deeper than that? Did his son know something about his father that made his murder justifiable? Was he brainwashed? Was he molested by someone from his father's inner circle of celebrity friends and peers? Hollywood is full of weirdos after all...

Shouldn't you be busy with your legal team so you don't end up getting Blacked.com in prison?

Same, I had to look up Bob Reiner and the only two movies I recognized by him were Stand By Me and The Princess Bride. Either way, it's pretty messed up how something he created turned into his own murderer.

His boomer parents probably abused and neglected him to a crazy degree. The guy was in rehab for the first time at 15. I grew up around some pretty shady kids and I knew a few that were deeply into drugs around that age, in and out of juvenile hall, etc. Every single one of them had absolutely FUCKED UP parents. Not talking about obvious stuff either, their parents looked perfectly nice and normal to everyone on the outside, and were always experts at playing the victim.
The reality is though that if your child grows up and stabs you to death, you as a parent failed absolutely. He isn't a "spoiled brat" or "just a bad seed." YOU are solely responsible for your own children's development, and if your kid is addicted to hard drugs as a 15 year old, that's on YOU, not the kid.
I'm not saying parents are responsible for their kids in perpetuity, but for an adult child to have so much anger and hurt that he murders his own parents, well, something went wrong there.
My parents were divorced alcoholics and I'd say my upbringing was unstable at best. As an adult I don't have the best relationship with them (I keep them at a distance because they're nuts) but I would never DREAM of stabbing them to death.
I guarantee you Reiner's kid lived a special kind of hell growing up.
Total boomer death.

There is a famous old photo of Rob Reiner where he and his wife have their heads placed on a butcher block and their child is holding a cleaver above their heads. It's not the same wife or the child that allegedly would murder him but still quite the portent of death.
