You shouldn't feel embarassed, unless everyone around you is a farmer, including yourself, though most people would've probably just honked. Granted what you intended was the most morale thing, since if it wasn't wild you could have saved it from getting ran over, and given how it worked out it was saved anyway. Basically, your good intentions probably saved the pig's life in a roundabout way. If you would've honked someone else might've ran it over later, and you would'nt have learned how to spot a wild pig. Stuff like this is why ends dont justify means, good intentions often work better than people can comprehend
